Students, group protest against Xenophobic attack in Akure

Scores of students of Ondo state origin have shutdown shoprite mall in Akure, the state capital.

The students were also joined by members Odua coalition group over continued attack on Nigerians in south Africa.

Chanting Solidarity songs, the protesters urged the Nigerian government to wade into the crisis and ensure that Nigerians living in south Africa are protected.

They described the action of the south Africans as barbaric calling for stiffer sanction against the country.

They threatened to shutdown every company owned by south Africans in the state
