Local Government Election in Ekiti state will hold on Saturday, December 7
This is according to a notice issued by the Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission.
The time table shows that electioneering campaign is to commence on Saturday, September 14 while political parties have been directed to obtain forms for their candidates as from Tuesday, the 1st of October.
The Chairman of EKSIIEC, Justice Babajiide Aladejana rtd who signed the time table, had warned parties last month to remove campaign posters from the streets until campaign is officially authorised as prescribed by the constitution.
