The Ekiti State Police Command says it has recovered a weapon from one of the protesting students of Federal University Oye-Ekiti.
Spokesman of the ommand, Caleb Ikechukwu, confirmed this to The News Track.
He said, “A weapon has been recovered from the protesting student. We are still on the look out for more weapons”.
This is coming just as the management of FUOYE disclosed that three students were injured in the course of the protest
The management has also announced indefinite closure of the institution
It has also proscribed students’ union activities in the institution
