No fewer than 700 people have been displaced by flood occasioned by torrential rain in Ayetoro community in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo state.
Residents of the community are now lamenting as they called on the state government to come to their rescue.
The flood has therefore rendered over six hundred homeless.
Hundreds of houses were also submerged as socio- economic activities have been totally crippled.
In a interview with The News Track, one of the affected victims, Mr. Aralu Emmanuel said, “I have lost all my property and valuables as my house was submerged by flood”.
He added, ” Economic activities here has been crippled, most of our people who engaged in fishing could not work”
