The Department of State Services has sought order from the federal high court in Abuja to detain the publisher of Sahara reporters, Omoyele for additional twenty days.

The federal government had on 20th September filed a seven-count charge of fraud and treasonable felony against Mr Sowore.
In the new charges the government is accusing Mr Sowore of making several transfers of $16,975 and $20,475 from his domiciliary account with the United Bank for Africa with the intention of concealing the origin of the money.
Operatives of the DSS, had in August arrested Sowore over his call for revolution ahead of the #RevolutionNow protests which held in some parts of the country
