The federal high court, sitting in Abuja has issued a notice of consequence of Disobedience to Order of Court to the Director General of the State Security Service.
The notice was issued to DSS Director for failing to comply with the order on the immediate release of Omoyele Sowore convener of the Revolution Now# Protest and publisher of Sahara Reporters.
Justice Taiwo Taiwo, had on the Tuesday ordered the SSS to release Omoyele Sowore forthwith and hand him over to his Counsel Femi Falana.
But the DSS is yet to comply with this Order even after all other conditions given by the court were met.
The notice says that the Contemnor ( DG SSS) will be guilty of contempt of court and will be liable to be committed to prison.
