Members of the Non academic staff of the Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti have kicked against the new tax regime introduced by the state government.
They are currently protesting at the school premises.
Armed with placards with various inscriptions, the protesting workers alleged that the state government is planing to implement 70 percent tax in arrears
The workers blocked the entrance to the administrative block to press home their demands.
Chanting solidarity songs, the aggrieved protesters condemned the management and the state government for subjecting them to hardship.
The protest has therefore crippled socio-economic activities at the administrative block of the institution
