Just in: A week after mysterious death of 36 cows in Ondo, govt officials begin fumigation of Okeowa

Health Officials have been deployed to Oke Owa in Ijare local government area of Ondo state to fumigate the scene where 36 cows were struck to death by lighting

The fumigation of the hill is coming a week after the incident.Thirty-six cows owned by some Fulani herders have died mysteriously in Ijare community of Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, after they were said to have been struck by lightning on Saturday
The people of the town claimed that the cows died after desecrating the Oke-Owa hill, where sacrifice is made every year.

The speaker of the state house of Assembly, Bamidele Oloyelogun had visited the scene with an assurance that something meaning will be done .
