The Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended a gang of four armed robbers in connection with the attack on a bank in Ise Ekiti.
A gang of armed robbers had attacked the bank two days ago
A mobile police officer attached to the bank was killed and millions of naira was carted away.
The criminals were arrested this morning with various weapons in Ise Ekiti by men of the Special Robbery Response Squad SARS.
Spokesman, Ekiti State Police Command DSP Caleb Ikechukwu confirmed the arrest.
He said it had not been confirmed whether they were the ones that attacked the bank as the criminals were currently undergoing interrogation.
