Former Rufus Giwa Poly student bags most dedicated corps member award in Kogi


Members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Lokoja, Kogi State have  bestowed an award of the most dedicated corps member to Fidelis David 


David a product of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo state received the award at an event to mark the End of Service Year for the 2018 Batch ‘C’ Corps members.


The award is in recognition of David’s dedication, selflessness, relentlessness and his efforts in humanitarian services through developmental writing and  promotion of the image of NYSC during service year.


Speaking before presenting the award to him, State Coordinator of NYSC, Mr. T.O. Lasaki, represented by the NYSC Zonal Inspector, Lokoja, Etsu Muazu Idris described Fidelis David as the Minister of Information of NYSC in the state. 


He said, “Let me tell you little about Fidelis David, he has been the one covering the activities of NYSC in the state since the beginning of his service year, not only that but  most of his reports are published in the National dailies


” Therefore, I must must commend his efforts and advise him not to relent “.
Responding, the highly elated David said “it wasn’t an award that got me carried away, but the show of love when my name was announced. 
“I was engulfed by an overwhelming fans including those who only knows me by name. It was as if they were all waiting for me to be announced”
