An Evangelist, John Abiodun has been arraigned before an Ondo state Magistrate’s Court sitting in Akure for allegedly blackmailing, and telling lies against Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi of the CAC, Promise Land Prophetical Ministry, Shasha Area, Akure.
Abiodun through social media accused Pastor Akinbiyi of planting placenta and new born baby at the altar of the church.
The police later investigated the allegation and discovered it to be falsehood.
Abiodun was charged on a three count punishable under Section 204 of the Criminal Code, Cap. 37, Vol. 1, Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria 2006.
