Fidelis David, a corp member who was recently decorated with most dedicated corp member award in Kogi state has described the award as a tonic that will prepare him for the tasks ahead.
David was honoured at the event held at Government House, Lokoja.
The event was part of the 5 -day activities marking the End of Service Year weak for the 2018 Batch ‘C’ Corps members.
The highly elated David said, “Sincerely, I must unequivocally confess that the event and award taught me some things I didn’t know, it thought me to accelerate more, It made me understand that i’m not done, that I have much to do before the end and that the best place to get started is right with all of my friends and people around me.
” I believe that my worth is not measured by what I do, by the honor that is bestowed upon me, or by material wealth that I might obtain. Instead, I am measured by the courage I show while standing for my beliefs, by the dedication and the selflessness I exhibit through my childish news and feature writings”
David, a Mass communication graduate of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo state added that this is the beginning of good things to come.
