The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested three persons in connection with the bloody clash by members of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria.
The drivers took to the streets of Ado Ekiti this morning brandishing dangerous weapons.
The drivers who were supporters of the two factions in the association disturbed the peace of the state capital.
They barricaded the Roads at Oke-Iyimi, Old garage, Post office, Ijigbo area of in Ado-Ekiti and made bonfires.
Addressing Journalists in Ado Ekiti, spokesperson of the Ekiti State Police Command, DSP Caleb Ikechukwu said the suspects were arrested with two cutlass and 5 empty shell of expended cartridges
He said the three suspects would be charged to court after due investigation.
