Meeting between government and labour over minimum wage has ended in a deadlock following failure to agree on a common figure.
Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige who chaired the meeting said both sides were unable to reach an understanding which forced a reschedule of the meeting to Wednesday.
The meeting is slated for 2 pm on Wednesday
The News Track gathered that labour had stepped down from her initial position but it appears government step up was not unsatisfactory enough
If Wednesday’s meeting fails to agree on a consensus, labour may proceed on strike from midnight of wednesday .
