Many people have sustained varying degrees of injuries in a violence that broke out between members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and Road Transport Employer Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) in Ore, Odigbo local government area of Ondo state .
For several hours, the popular Ore road was deserted as the two groups engaged in free for all fight.
Property worth millions of naira were vandalised while business activities were paralysed for hours during the bloody clash of the commercial drivers.
The News Track gathered that the crisis was caused by a move by the two Unions to gain control of some motor parks in Ore.
It was gathered RTEAN members earlier barricaded Ondo road and invaded NURTW with weapons where vehicles were reportedly vandalised and members of NURTW were injured.
