Nnamdi Kanu, loses father, four months after mother’s death

The Leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has lost his Father, the traditional ruler of Isiama Afara Ukwu, a community in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State to the icy hand of death.

His father was said to have died on Thursday, 5th of December, 2019.

A source close to the family who pleaded anonymity made this knonw that HRM, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu (JP) passed on at Federal Medical centre, in Umuahia, Abia state where he has been at the Intensive care unit for about two weeks.

Recall that Nnamdi Kanu’s mother died on August 30 in a German hospital after a brief illness associated with the shock she got when her family house in Afaraukwu was invaded by Nigerian security officials, leaving heavy human and animal casualties in the process.
