Breaking:Ritualists Invade Akure, Use Taxi to Operate

Some people suspected to be ritualists are now operating in Akure, the Ondo State capital, with the aim of using residents for ritual purposes.

These ritualists use taxi to carry out their nefarious activities in Akure.

One of their victims, who narrowly escaped being lynched, told the News Track that four persons in a taxi tried to take him to an unknown location.

The boy, identified as Sunday Adewale said he boarded the taxi from Orita-Obele area of Akure, unaware that the four passengers were working together.

He said, “I boarded a taxi from Orita-Obele to Adegbemile in Akure. As we were going, I noticed that four passengers including myself sat at the back and there was no passenger at the front seat.

“I asked them that I want to move to the front, they said no. It was at this point that I suspected foul play.

“After that, they tied my hands with rope and sealed my mouth with tape. Despite this, I was struggling with them.

“When we got to Ade Super area, they threw me out of the vehicle. I thanked God that I was not used for ritual”.
