Contrary to speculations, President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed that he will not make himself available for a third term in 2023.
The president was speaking at the National Executive Council meeting of the Ruling All Progressives Congress in Abuja.
The President says it was an opportunity for him to deal decisively with any law breaker as he needs not to seek anybody’s mandate again.
He challenged party faithful to reappraise themselves and leave positive stories for future generations.
According to him, all hands must be on deck for the survival of APC beyond 2023.
The NEC meeting is expected to endorse some of the decisions reached at the party’s caucus meeting on Thursday. One of the decision is the fate of former Governor Rocha’s Okorocha, Ibikunle Amosun and some members of the NWC who were suspended for anti-party activities.
