An eighty year old woman, Iyadunni Ayodele of Ojo Quarters at Ajowa Akoko northwest local government area of Ondo state has been crushed to death by a reckless driver.

The kano-Lagos bound vehicle drove by one Shehu Mustapha lost control and rammed into a commercial motorcycle with two passengers and knocked down Mrs Iyaduni Ayodele who was trading at Ajowa road side market.
The three occupants of the motorcycle sustained varying degrees of injuries.
They have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital in the area.
Police area commander for Ikare Akoko ACP Razak Rauf and the DPO for Okeagbe Superintendent of police Akintola confirmed the incident
The duo disclosed that vehicles have been impounded while investigation is in progress.
The FRSC unit commander for Ikare Akoko Mr Yinka Akande attributed the accident to the reckless driving.
He cautioned drivers on the need to reduce their speed limits while driving within the towns.
An Ajowa Akoko community leader Alhaji Abu Oloruntoba described the sudden death of Mrs Iyadunni Ayodele as a sad.
