Two Catholic priests abducted last Friday by unknown gunmen along Benin/ Owo Highway have regained their freedom.
They regained their freedom after spending five days in kidnappers’ den
Their abductors had demanded a sum of N100 million as a ransom for their release.
The two priests, Rev. Fr. Joseph Nweke and Rev. Fr. Felix Efobi from Awka Catholic Diocese were said to have been kidnapped on Benin-Owo Highway on their way to a wedding ceremony in Akure.
