We are committed to payment of new minimum wage- Ondo NLC chairman
The Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress, Ondo State Council Comrade Sunday Sunday Oluwole-Adeleye has assured workers in the state public service of an acceptable salary table for the new minimum wage.
Adeleye disclosed this in his Christmas message to the state workforce
According to him, the NLC will ensure that the salary table for the new minimum wage is affordable and sustainable
He urged Christians all over the world to imbibe the goodly virtues exhibited by our Lord in giving to us His only son by demonstrating love and sacrifice.
In a statement made available by the Congress Secretary, Comrade Kehinde Shado, the Chairman equally thanked the workers of the Sunshine State for their commitment and support in the outgoing year 2019.
He also thanked the state government for being worker’s friendly especially in the area of prompt and regular payment of salaries and pension to our senior citizens.
While urging more commitment and support in the coming year, the NLC Chairman promised that he would not relent in ensuring that workers’ well-being and welfare are guaranteed and always in the front burner.
The statement added, “the current leadership of NLC is unrepentantly committed to the protection of jobs, regular and full payment of salaries to all categories of workers in both public and private sectors.
