The General Manager of Adaba 88.9 fm, a privately-owned radio station in Akure, Ondo state, Sir Martins Ayoola has assured the people of the state that the station will continue to be objective in its reportage.
Ayoola gave the assurance at the 2019 end-of-the-year party organised for staff of the radio station.
It was indeed a time for staff of the station to wine and dine and take stock of the job done during the outgoing year.
They were joined in the celebration by some members of staff of TVC Communications.
One of the side attractions at the event was the departmental dance competition.
Ayoola said the station will continue to dish out good programmes and quality news to the people.
He added that Adaba FM would maintain unbiased posture in its reportage.
He said, ” We are committed to objectivity, we will continue to give our best to the people. We will not relent in our efforts to serve our listeners the best”
The Chief Press Secretary to the Ondo state Governor, Segun Ajiboye described Adaba FM as a unique radio station that has impacted greatly on the lives of people of Ondo and other south west States.
“Adaba FM is a station that is unbiased in its reportage. I am proud to associate with the station”, Ajiboye added.
The event was also attended by Senior Special Assistant to Ondo state Governor on Broadcast communication, Dapo Aruwajoye and Special Assistant to the governor on new media, Richard Olabode.
High point of the event was the presentation of cash gifts to seven members of staff, who distinguished themselves in the outgoing year.
Aladesanmi Oyekanmi of the news department was one of the staff honoured at the event.
