Kano Governorship appeal: Tension as Supreme court rises abruptly

The supreme court has  abruptly rose when one of the seven justices hearing the appeal in the 2019 kano state governorship election suddenly fell I’ll while sitting.


Shortly after  counsel for  Abbah Yusuf of the peoples Democratic party, Adeboyega Awomolo adopted his brief and urged the court to allow the appeal.


The chief justice of Nigeria , justice Tanko Mohammad announced that the court will have to abruptly rise having notice that justice Olukayode Ariwoola suddenly fell ill.


The CJN led other six justices out of the Court  which was filled to capacity Consequently, the CJN led other six justices out of the court  to enable them attend to the ailing  .


As at the time if this report, about 30 senior advocates of Nigeria are waiting for the return of the panel to the court, to continue with the proceedings
