The Founder of Sotitobire Miracle Centre, Oshinle, Akure, ‘Prophet’ Babatunde Alfa will today (Friday) return to Ondo state Magistrate court sitting at Oke-Eda, Akure from Olokuta Correctional facility (prisons) where he was remanded.
The court had adjourned the case till Friday January 17, 2020 for bail application and hearing.
Recall the angry youths had burnt Sotitobire Miracle Church on Wednesday 18th December 2019.
This led to the death of three persons and destruction of property worth millions of Naira, over unconfirmed report that the corpse ofone year old boy, Gold Kolawole who got missing in the Church in November was exhumed from the church altar.
The prophet was accused of conspiring with five other suspects to kidnap and aid the kidnap a one year old gold eninlalopuwa kolawole at the sotitobire praising chapel in akure
The offences are said to be punishable under section five of ondo state anti-kidnapping and anti-abduction law 2010.
Other suspects are Omodara Olayinka, Margaret Oyebola, Grace Ogunjobi, Egunjobi Motunrayo, Esther kayode and Peter Anjorin
One of the suspects Peter Anjorin was accused of destroying and secretly taking away vital evidence that could have aided speedy investigation in respect of the missing gold kolawole an offense contrary and punishable under section 123 of the criminal code and cap 37 laws of ondo state
