The National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) has started paying the long awaited new Allowance to corps members across Nigeria.
In Ondo state, corps members were seen jubilating at NYSC secretariat and across their hostels.
Many of them started getting bank alerts in the early hours of Friday.
Some of the corps members who received the new allowance have uploaded pictures of their credit alert messages on different social media platforms.
Before the new development, the monthly pay of serving Corps Members was N19,800.
