Eateries in Akure, Ondo State capital, on Friday, witnessed large out of customers celebrating this year’s Valentine’s Day with their lovers.

Most of the eateries were jampacked in the evening by lovers and fun seekers.

Drinking joints were not also left out as lovers trooped in to buy Suya, Asun and barbeque.

Some of eateries such as captain cook, chicken republic, shop rite among others were flooded by families and lovers.

Some joints provided live bands to add colour to the celebration of Valentine’s day.

It is a time when people show feelings of love, affection and friendship. 

It is celebrated in many ways worldwide and falls on February 14 each year.

 Many people see Valentine’s day  as a special day to express one’s love for another
