Residents of Ogbagba are protesting the alleged beating of their monarch, Agbowu of Ogbagba, Oba Dhikirulahi Olabira on Friday during a peacemaking meeting by the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi.
The aggrieved protesters stormed Osun State Secretariat, Abere Osun State to vent their anger.
Armed with placards with various inscriptions, theyurged the state governor, Gboyega Oyetola to suspend him with immediate effect
Some of the inscriptions on their placards read “Justice must prevail“; ” Oluwo destroys traditions: Suspend him!”; “Oyetola save our souls” and “Suspend Rasheed Akanbi now”, among others.
