Over one hundred and fifty houses have been destroyed in Onigarri area in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo state.
Many residents of the area who have been rendered homeless are seeking government assistance.

The 60 -year- old widow’s house is badly affected, destroying her shop which is her source of livelihood.
This has halted her Garri business which she is using to feed her family.
Femisola Olofinsawo is another victim. Her house was not also spared by the rainstorm.
Residents of Ikoba in Akure North local government area of the state also suffered similar fate.
