The Special Assistant to Ondo Governor on multimedia, Gbenga Asade has distributed food items, buckets and nose masks to resident of Lafe community in Akure South Local Government Area of the State.
This gesture is designed to support government’s intervention to cushion the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.
While presenting the items to the needy and vulnerable, Asade who was in company of some of his staff, said the donation was to ameliorate the sufferings of the people.
He urged the people to remain law-abiding, use their nose masks and adhere strictly to the stay-at-home directive of the government.
“This gesture is designed to reach the vulnerable in Lafe Area at this crucial period when COVID- 19! is ravaging the world.
” There are many people who cannot feed their families at this time. This is just my own support to cushion the effect of the lockdown”.
