The Nigeria Center for Disease Control has confirmed that Ondo state has recorded its fourth case of COVID- 19
NCDC said the patient left Lagos for Ondo state.
This has therefore put to rest the controversy that trailed the announcement of the fourth case.
There had been reports that the new case of Covid19 I Ondo state was allegedly planned by the Ondo state government.
The NCDC in its daily update on its official twitter handle,confirmed that the new patient who was said to be a police officer left Lagos for Ondo State.
It says “ One case who was confirmed in Lagos State, traveled to Ondo State for treatment.
Therefore, the number of cases in Lagos is 689 and the number of cases in Ondo is 4.”
