Absence of Ondo Attorney General stalls Sotitobire suit.

The absence of the Ondo  State Attorney General, Adekola Olawoye today stalled the hearing of the case involving the Founder of Sotitobire Miracle Chapel, Alfa Babatunde.


Alfa Babatunde is standing trial with six members of the church over the alleged kidnap of one year old Gold Kolawole in his church in November 2019.


Presiding judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola adjourned the case till 2nd June, 2020.


He announced the adjournment after a representative of the prosecution counsel, Mr Babatunde Falodun informed the court of the inability of the state attorney general and Commissioner for justice, Adekola Olawoye, SAN to be present due to an urgent state assignment.

Falodun also applied for an adjournment of the hearing and the application.


This was not opposed by all the defence counsel, olusola oke, Olumide ogidan, akinyemi omoware and olalekan Akinrinsola.
