Palpable fear grips Ondo residents as Almajiri boys invade many communities
Palpable fear has gripped Residents of Akure,the Ondo state capital and some communities in Akoko area of the state over the invasion of young people (popularly known as Almajiri boys) from the northern part of the country.
This is coming as coronavirus pandemic ravages the world.
Kano state is one the states with highest number of confirmed COVID 19 cases and deaths in the in the country.
Scores of the Almajiris were seen alighting from trucks at shasha market along akure Owo road and Dangote deport at Ilesa garage in Akure.
Similar situation also played out at Ikare, Ugbe and Arigidi Akoko.
Some of the boys who were suspected of contracting COVID-19, were brought to Ondo state from Kano state by trucks carrying food items and other essential goods.
