A group known as “The third Force” has emerged in Ondo state ahead of the governorship election slated for October.
The group at its maiden press briefing, said it is ready to rescue power from the current APC-led government.
About 14 political parties in Ondo State have dumped their parties and pitch their tent with Action Democratic Party (ADP).
The parties collapsed their structures in all the eighteen local councils area of the state to team up with ADP with a view to forming a formidable party to emerge victorious in the forthcoming October gubernatorial election.
Some of the parties include: Alliance for Social Democrat (ASD), Social Democratic Party(SDP), Young Democratic Party (YDP), Alliance for New Nigeria(ANN), Mega Party of Nigeria (MPN).
Biyi Poroye who addressed journalists in Akure on behalf of different political parties that formed “The Third Force”, said the group parades arrays of experienced politicians.
The group commended the federal and state governments for their determination in curbing the spread of COVID- 19 pandemic.
