Ondo state Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi today, appeared at a government function.

He was present at the weekly briefing on COVID-19 pandemic.

This is the first time Ajayi will be attending the weekly briefing since the outbreak of the pandemic.

The relationship between Ajayi and the Governor have not been cordial in the last two months over an allegation that the Deputy Governor is eyeing the number one seat.

It was gathered that the issue has caused unnecessary enmity between Akeredolu and Ajayi, his deputy.
