Ondo state has recorded forty six new cases of COVID-19.
This is out of the five hundred and forty four new infections recorded in the country on Sunday.
The latest figure in Ondo state has brought to 456 the number of coronavirus cases so far recorded.
According to the Nigeria Centre for disease control, NCDC in its daily covid19 update, new cases were found in nineteen states.
Lagos tops the table with one hundred and ninety nine infections, Ebonyi, sixty five, forty seven in Oyo while Ogun recorded thirty one cases.
Other states with new infections are as follow Edo-30, FCT-28, Katsina-25, Plateau-15, Bayelsa-11, Kaduna-10, Adamawa-10, Akwa Ibom-8, Gombe-7, Kano-4, Taraba-3, Rivers-2, Abia-2, Ekiti-1.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria now is twenty eight thousand, seven hundred and eleven.
