Breaking: Rotimi Benjamin emerges ZLP Governorship Candidate
Hon Rotimi Benjamin has emerged as Zenith Labour Party flagbearer for the October 2020 Governorship election in Ondo State.
He merged at a convention held in Akure, by beating his sole challenger, Pastor Olusegun Esho.
Mr. Olarotimi scored six- five votes out of ninety votes to defeat Mr. Esho who polled 20votes.
The exercise monitored by INEC officials was organized by Convention committee headed by Mr Eni Akinsola.
The convention was attended by a former Governor of Ondo state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko and the State Chairman of ZLP, Hon Joseph Akinlaja
Segun Esho who lost out later emerged as the party’s running mate.
