All Progressives Congress delegates across the 11 wards in Odigbo local government area of the state have demonstrated their support for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to win the primary election slated for July 20, 2020.
Special Adviser to the Governor on Commerce and Industry, Hon. Tunji Fabiyi who flagged off the campaign held at the APC Party secretariat in Ore, urged the delegates to support Akeredolu based on his unprecedented achievements of his administration.
He expressed confidence that with the present administration’s good services to the masses in no small measure, the people would pay back with their votes both at the July 20 APC primaries and the October 10, 2020 governorship election.
Mr. Fabiyi stressed that the defection of the deputy governor, Hon. Agboola Ajayi and his supporters would not have any negative impact on the winning spirit of Governor Akeredolu, noting that this is the best time to separate true loyal partyen from betrayers.
Reacting to the Indirect mode of Primaries as submitted to the INEC by the APC national Secretariat, Hon. Akinnibosun said they are fully prepared to ensure Akeredolu emerge victorious in whatever mode of primaries adopted eventually.
Also speaking, one of the notable leaders and Chairman, Sunshine Sitting Group, Mr. Olabanji Akinnibosun while narrating the essence of the political gathering, maintained that as the state is preparing for its governorship election, it is highly imperative for progressive members to decide who is capable and resilience to revive both materials and non-materials back to normal.
Akinnibosun noted that nobody among APC governorship aspirants could defeat Akeredolu in the forthcoming contest.
Akinnibosun maintained that the adoption of Governor Akeredolu by the APC delegates in Odigbo area as their main candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial primaries and election became necessary as he is the only among the contestants who could take ondo state to the promised land.
All campaign items including customized caps were distributed to all party’s delegates, members and leaders on Odigbo council area as a symbol of eagerness to work for Governor Akeredolu in the forthcoming governorship exercise in the state.
Other personalities at the flag off of the campaign were member of Ondo state House of Assembly, Hon. Samuel Aderoboye, Odigbo APC party chairman, Alhaji Fatai Olawale and other party stalwarts.
