Aggrieved APC aspirants may boycott Monday’s primary election, three to contest in other parties

Some aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state may pull out of Monday’s primary election of the party following the adoption of Indirect primary.

It was gathered that some are already considering the option of contesting in other parties.

One of them from the south senatorial district, it was reliably gathered, has already placed a Governorship aspirant in Africa Democratic Party where he is expected to contest.

The Aspirant who did not obtain APC ticket is expected to step down for him through substitution method.

Eleven APC aspirants had written a protest letter to the national leadership of the party in support of direct primary mode.

But their protest letter was turned down as the party insisted on using Indirect primary mode.

This didn’t go down well with most of the aspirants who accused the leadership of bias

Some of the aspirants are even considering a merger option in another political party
