Another Eid-l Kabir is here and as Muslims across the world celebrate the end of Sawm which is the practice of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, one of the five pillars of Islam as Muslims believe that it was during the month of Ramadan that the text of the Qur’an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. May the almighty Allah reveals His promise to us and perfect it in our life insha Allah.
The All Progressives Congress, Ondo State Chapter, on behalf of our Chairman Engr. Ade Adetimehin and other members of our great party joins our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ondo State in celebrating Eid-EL-Kabir. May God grant us success, protection, good health, long life and prosperity in return.
We urge all our Muslim faithfuls in the state to adhere strictly to the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), emulate and be inspired by his steadfastness, generosity and obedience to Allah’s commandment. On this wondrous occasion, may Allah flood all your soul with passion, your life with happiness, your mind with wisdom and your heart with love.
Celebration this year, unfortunately, would be low-keyed being the will of our creator and as a sacrifice in tackling the coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world.
Therefore, we urge everyone to return to Allah and pray to see an end to this pandemic as soon as possible.
As we do so may the peace of Allah abide with you. May His glory overwhelm you. May His grace, favour and mercy never depart from your life, now and forever.
We wish you, all, and your family Happy Eid-el-Kabir and may the almighty Allah give you more than you asked for insha-Allahu.
