Alhaji Ali Olanusi, former Deputy Governor of Ondo State has decided to work for Zenith Labour Party being controlled by former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
The duo became enemies in the wake of 2015 general election while Alhaji Olanusi dumped Mimiko to pitch his tent with the All Progressives Congress.
Olanusi conspired with Mimiko to dislodge the late former Governor, Olusegun Agagu.
Olanusi paid for his action as he was impeached by the then state lawmakers.
Today, the duo are back together in the ZLP to form the third force.
Olanusi as a result of perceived hatred for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu could no longer stay in the APC.
He has abandoned the Unity forum, a group in the APC after his preferred aspirant, Olusola Oke lost out in the party’s primaries.
While Oke and his supporters have decided to support Governor Akeredolu, Mr. Olanusi has pitched his tent with Akeredolu’s deputy.
In the coming days, Mr. Olanusi and his supporters will declare their support for Agboola Ajayi.
