Nigeria Football Fans club Set to inaugurate Ondo chapter

The Nigeria Football Fans Club says plans has already been concluded to inaugurate Ondo State chapter of the association in September.

Kingsley Ossai, Chairman of the state chapter club said this when the association paid a courtesy visit to the executives of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) in the state.

Ossai said the fans club, being a new body in the state, decided to tap from the experience of sport writers to ensure smooth take off of the club in the state.

He said that any intending member of the association would have to pay N34,000, while it is free for instrumentalist.

Ossai said the association will only register first 100 member in the first year for saw and smooth take off.

Wahab Bankole, Chairman of SWAN in the state urged the club to always carry sports writers in the state along in all their activities.

Bankole commended the brains behind the planned inauguration of the club, being the fourth state in the country.

He concluded by thanking the chairman of the club, who doubles as the proprietor of Akure City, for always supporting grassroots football in the state.

The Nigeria Football fans club is led by its President, Kemi Ogunfuwa.
