Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ondo State Command now has a new state Commandant.
He is Eweka Okoro.
Mr. Okoro replaces Phillip Ayuba who was recently elevated to the position of Assistant Commandant General.
While addressing the Officers and men at the State Command, the new Commandant promised to work round the clock to rid the State of all criminal activities.
He added that the command would continue to work assiduously in safeguarding all government critical national assets and infrastructure, Intelligence gathering, monitoring and supervision of private guard companies, crisis management amongst others.
Mr Eweka appealed to the civil populace to kindly provide the command with credible Intelligence that would lead to the arrest of criminally minded persons in the State.
He also advised parents and guardians to refrain the youths from engaging in vandalizism and destruction of properties and amenities, saying anyone caught in such unscrupulous behavior will face the full wrath of the law.
Responding, the former commandant thanked the commandant General, Mohammed Abdullahi Gana for the opportunity given to him to serve in Ondo State.
ACG Phillip charged the officers and men in Ondo Command to Cooperate with the new Commandant in ensuring adequate provision of Security to the good people of Ondo State.
