The men of the Ondo State Police Command have rescued some market women who were kidnapped along Akure- Owo road.
The women were abducted on Thursday on their way to Akure for a meeting.
The were rescued by the police with the support of other security agencies.
Spokesman of the Ondo state police command Mr. Tee-Leo Ikoro disclosed this while chatting with Peoples’ Information Network.
Our correspondent could not confirm if ransom was paid to their abductors before they were released.
