The ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has announced the ban of activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in the state indefinitely
This followed bloody clashes among the members in the last few days .
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Special Duties and Strategy, Dr Doyin Odebowale disclosed at a news conference in Akure
The governor also ordered the NURTW members to immediately vacate all motor parks across the state.
Members of the union clashed on Tuesday morning leaving one person dead and many injured.
The government described the clash as unruly and uncultured behaviour of the union leaders which resulted in violent attacks on members and innocent citizens.
