Former Chairman of Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA) Otunba Akinsola Akinbobola has faulted the process that led to the outcome of the state Football Association election conducted yesterday at the state Sports Complex, Akure.
He said lots discrepancies that can not be overlooked were discovered in the electoral process.
He said, “Let me reiterates here that the whole process was marred with big questionable flaws, to this end, we shall continue our consultations with stakeholders and our group after which the next line of action, we shall know,
According to a statement issued by Kayode Samuel, the media aide to Akinbobola, the former ODSFA chairman pleaded with his teeming supporters and sports lovers across the 18 local governments of Ondo state to remain calm.
He added, “We will not allow Ondo State to take a back seat in the sports development in this country.
“Let me assure our numerous football lovers in Ondo State that before the end of tomorrow Friday 12th March, we shall make our position known on the outcome of this election.”
