The policewoman shot by  political thugs during last weekend’s bye elction in Ekiti East Constituency, Bukola Olawoye has died.

She died two days after battling with gun shot injury

 Spokesperson of the Ekiti State Police command  , Mr Sunday Abutu confirmed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti.

 He said the officer died on Monday at the Federal University Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti, where she was receiving  treatment.

He commiserated with the family of the late sergeant Olawoye, praying God to comfort them.
