Aare Ebenezer Busuyi, the supervisor for Agriculture, Ekiti West local government
has been kidnapped along Erijiyan Ekiti road.
It was gathered that he was kidnaped while driving in his personal car along the road.
His car was left beside the road while he was whisked away by the kidnapers.
A resident of Erijiyan Ekiti who spoke under the condition of anonymity, confirmed the abduction.
He explained that police from ilawe Ekiti had visited the spot of the incident while his vehicle had been taken to police custody.
He called on the security agent to swing into action to rescue the APC stalwart from his abductors.
Spokesperson of the state police command, Sunday Abutu confirmed the kidnap.
He said “I can confirm to you that he was accosted while he was on his way home. The police and the local hunters including the vigilante have started combing the bush already to ensure his rescue and arrest the culprits.”
