The National Working Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has commended Dr. Eddy Olafeso, former National Vice Chairman (SW) of the party for his contributions to the success of the just concluded South West Zonal Congress of the party.
In a letter signed by the National Secretary of the Party, Sen. Umaru Ibrahim Tsauri which was addressed to Dr. Eddy Olafeso, it stated,” The NWC wishes to put on record your steadfastness, commitment, sportsmanship and loyalty which you have consistently demonstrated leading to the growth of the PDP in the South West and Nigeria.
Sen. Umaru also on behalf of the Party enjoined him to continue to work for the growth and development of the party.
Olafeso who polled 330 votes narrowly lost to Taofeek Arapaja who had 343 votes to become PDP south west chairman.
