A former two term Ondo House Of Assembly member, Hon Kemisola Adesanya has joined other notable Nigerians to celebrate this year’s workers day.
Adesanya, in a press statement made available to newsmen in Akure,the Ondo state capital on Saturday ,said that Nigerian workers deserved to be celebrated and encouraged .
The peoples Democratic Party Woman leader in the state said ” I join other well meaning Nigerians to celebrate and rejoice with our workers in the state and across the country for their selfless service so far in keeping the country going” she said.
” it is necessary to state unequivocally that the workers need to be celebrated over their contributions towards nation building “
Adesanya, therefore urged the government to make the welfare of workers a priority.
” Government to should endeavor to make the welfare of workers a priority and encourage them the more through good and better welfare packages”
The ex legislator therefore concluded that the insecurity and youths unemployment really call for concern, the President Muhammadu Buhari should do the needful in the area of security to give hope to the citizens
