Man dies while trying to escape with stolen motorcycle in Ondo 

 A suspected robber, who specialized in robbing people of their motorcycles has died in a lone accident, while trying to escape with a stolen bike.

The  middle-aged man, whose identity is still unknown was said to have died instantly, when the okada snatched alongside his accomplice crashed in front of a joint along Alagbaka road, in Akure metropolis.

Reports had it that the deceased was lying lifeless by the road which attracted passers-by starring at the corpse.

It was gathered that the robber lost his life, while trying to escape with the bike he allegedly snatched from a commercial motorcyclist along Sunview Hotel, in Alagbaka GRA, Akure .

The owner of the motorcycle was said to have cried for help, which attracted fellow motorcyclists who gave him a hot chase.

A source told our correspondent that it was in the process of escaping that the robbers had a crash that claimed the life of the deceased.

The body, it was learnt, was lying by the road till yesterday when it was evacuated.

The police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, confirmed the incident.

According to him, investigation is still on going as the second suspected robber is still at large with the stolen bike
